TARYN BAILLIE
Music Educator and Performer
I've taught in private studios, at summer camps, at public schools and after school programs. I strive to create a collaborative and creative classroom where all students can access music. Originally a cellist from Long Beach, CA, I moved up to San Francisco to study with the Alexander String Quartet at SFSU. My primary focus is on my students, but when I have time I still gig with my cello and play in community orchestras.

About Me
When I'm not teaching, writing lesson plans, or practicing; I love to garden, go on hikes, cook/bake and go to Giants games! I love sharing my interests with my students, and finding interests that I can reference in the classroom to help my students engage in the material.

Qualifications
I recently earned my California Preliminary teaching credential from San Francisco State University. I plan on working towards my Clear Credential over the next two years with SFUSD. I graduated with my Bachelors in Music Education in 2016, and knew immediately that I wanted to get my Teaching Credential.
